Having fished with Nate for 7 years in a row now, I can tell you that he is a professional guide and an old friend at the same time. Nate, Just wanted to drop you a note to express my appreciation for the overnight fishing trip. To say I had a great time is an understatement. Just having an opportunity to talk and look at the surrounding Dubois landscape was well worth the journey. Wyoming is the most beautiful place I have ever visited and that's saying a lot because I've been to some great destinations. Nate,Thanks for the pictures! Thank you mostly for an amazing experience. I have dreamed for years and years about fly fishing some great western trout waters and was truly dismayed when I began my research for my trip ( because of the snow melt). Through our emails and phone conversation you gave me some hope and then delivered! Great fishing in several different post card locations. You certainly taught me a lot and a pleasure to talk with on our long car rides. Fishing the pocket water in that creek (name withheld) was an enjoyable educational experience even though there were no fish after the first few casts. I know it would have been easier on you to keep fishing that stretch of the Lewis for a while longer and chalk it up to a bad day. I am so thankful that you were persistent!! I sure hope circumstances permit me to return to Jackson, and if so, know that I will let you show me some of that legendary dry fly fishing on the Snake or Green!!
